|pūrvvoktāni rakṣādīni tatvena vinā na sidhyanti|

yathoktaṁ bhagavatā| caturdevī paripṛcchāmahāyogatantre|

caturaśītisāhasre dharmmaskandhe mahāmuneḥ| tatvaṁ (vai) ye na na

jānanti te ca sarvve ca niṣphalā iti|| atas tatvam avatāryate| kin tat tatvaṁ|

bodhicittaṁ ādyanutpannam śātam iti yad uktaṁ bhagavatā samājottara

vyākhyātantre| anādinidanaṁ śāntam bhāvābhāvakṣayaṁ vibhuṁ|

śūnyatākaruṇābhinnaṁ bodhicittam iti smṛtaṁ| etac ca kāyavākcitta-

vivekādivyatirekeṇa na sidhyatīti| tad avatāryate| tatra sādhakaḥ

śūnyatādhimokṣena

prākṛtāhaṁkāram apanīya jhaṭ ity ātmānaṁ mahāvajradhararūpaṁ

śuklavarṇṇaṁ dvibhujam ity ādinā| evaṁ caturyogakaras tu yogī

hūṁkāragarbbhaṁ pravicintya lokaṁ dṛṣṭvā jagattadbhavavajrasatvaṁ

vyuttāya taddhīr vvicared yathāvad iti paryante

na| upalabdhamantrātmakasya vajradharakāyasyālīkatvaṁ yad

asvabhāvasvabhāvatvena parijñānaṁ sa kāyavivekaḥ| athavā śatakulaprabhe

denālīkatvaṁ yat kāyasya| kulāḥ śatavidhāḥ proktā ity āgamāt

lokavyavahāreṇaivālīkatvaṁ kumārayauvana vṛ

ddhāvasthānāṁ svabhāvānupalabdheḥ| tasmād āgamādhigamābhyāṁ

traidhātukasthitakāyasyālīkatvaṁ kāyavivekaḥ| yathā jalatalāntarggatasya

kāyasyeti| hūṁkāragarbbham iti tryakṣarasamudbhūtatvāt|

kāyasyālīkatvaṁ jñātvā tatkāraṇasya tryakṣarasya katham alī

katvaṁ| tatra vāyutatvānupūrvveṇa vinā na prajñāyate|

vāyutatvaṁ nāma prāṇavāyuḥ| sa nāsikāc chidrābhyāṁ caturmmaṇḍalakrameṇa

praveśasthitivyutthānair dvyayutaśataṣodaśaṁ bhavati| teṣu praveśādiṣu|

oṁ āḥ hūṁ iti sāṁketiko mantrajāpaḥ| tasya bhāvanayā nāsāgre sarṣapaṁ

cintet sarṣape ca sacarācaraṁ bhāvayed ityādinā

prakarṣaparyante nadyayutaśataṣodaśanirodhāt| tryakṣarasyāpi nirodha ity

alīkatvaṁ āvāco vāgvivekaḥ| yathā pratiśabdasya| anenaiva krameṇa

vāyusaṁyuktavāc cittasya grāhyagrāhakagrahanarūpasya tatkārya

ṣaṣṭyuttaraśata

prakṛter api virāgarāgamadhyarāgāder alīkatvam iti cittavivekaḥ|

yathā svapnacittasya| evaṁ dvitīyavajrajāpakrameṇa vākcittayor

asvabhāvasvabhāva parijñānāt| tā eva prakṛtayo dvāṣaṣṭidṛṣṭayo 'ṣṭānavatikleśāś

ca saṁbhavantyaḥ saṁsārahetukā na bhava

nti dṛṣṭikleśānām apy asvabhāvasvabhāvatvāt| naite nāma

māraṇāntikāḥ pañcaskandhāḥ antarābhāvalakṣaṇam kāryaṁ janayanti|

svādhiṣṭhānopadeśaprāptānāṁ kin tu svādhiṣṭhānalakṣaṇaṁ kāryaṁ

janayanti tac cāṣṭapadārthān vināśotpattihetū vinā na jñāyate|

yathāryadevapādāḥ| pṛthivyādīni catvāri tathā śūnyacatuṣṭayaṁ|

aṣṭau padārthā vijñeyā vināśotpattihetavaḥ| teṣāṁ vināśakramas tāvat

pradarśyate| vairocanātmakaṁ rūpaskandhaṁ tatkulīnaṁ ca kṣitigarbbhādikaṁ

saṁgṛhya prāṅ mahīṁ locanā

tayoṁ gacchet| toyaṁ māmakī ratnasambhavātmakaṁ vedanā

tatkulīnavajrapāṇyādinā saha pāvakaṁ gacchati| pāvakas tu

pāṇḍaravāsinī amitābhātmakasaṁjñāskandhaṁ tatkulīnañ ca||

ghrānendriyādikaṁ gṛhītvā vāyudhātuṁ praviśati| vāyuḥ punas tārā amo

ghasiddhisvabhāvaḥ saṁskāraskandha tatkulīna rasanendriyādinā

ekībhūya śunyaṁ jñānam ālokapratipakṣaṁ gacchati| śūnyaṁ punar

virāgādiprakṛtyā sahālokābhāsapratipakṣātiśūnyajñānaṁ yāti| tad

rāgādiprakṛtyālokopalabdhipratipakṣaṁ mahāśūnyajñānaṁ gacchati|


mahāśūnyan tu madhyarāgādinā prabhāsvaraṁ praviśati

āryanāgabuddhipādair apy uktaṁ pṛthagbhāve caturṇṇāṁ ca gate skandhe

tathendriye| krameṇānena līyante yathaivāgamanaṁ purāḥ| prāṅ mahī

salilaṁ gacchej jalaṁ gacchati pāvakaṁ| pāvako vāyum anveti vāyur vi

jñānam āviśet|| vijñānaṁ dhāraṇaṁ gatvā prabhāsvaram athāviśet|

tasmād gandharvvatāṁ gatvā jāyate karmmacoditaṁ|| evaṁ

janmasamudreṣu bhūtvā bhūtvā punaḥ punaḥ prakṛtyāvarttasaṁbhrāmāt

pāraṁ na labhate jagat|| etenaitad api vyākhyātuṁ bhavati| pratyāhāras

tathā dhyānaṁ prāṇā

yāmaś ca dhāraṇā iti| tasmād dhāraṇāṅgaṁ mahāśūnyaṁ tato

'tiśūnyaṁ jāyate| tataḥ śūyañ ca etenānusmṛtiḥ kathitā| teṣāṁ

satyadvayādvaidhīkāraparijñānāt samādhir iti| kathitam āloka upadarśinā

daśabhūmīśvaratvaṁ pratipāditaṁ| ābhāsa

trayadarśī ca daśabhūmyāṁ pratiṣṭhita ity āgamāt|

svādhiṣṭhānānupūrvveṇa prabhāsvaropadeśaṁ yo labdhavān sa

vajropamasamādhinā sarvvabuddhaguṇālaṁkṛto buddhabhūmau

viśvaramaṇenāmeyadevīsamāpattyā ā saṁsāraṁ sthitiṁ kuryād ity api

pratipāditaṁ| svacittanirābhāsamātreṇa prajñāpāramitā-

vihārānuprāptā| utpādakriyāyogarahitā| vajrabimbopamasamādhiḥ|

tathāgatakāyānugataṁ pratilabhante bodhisatvā ity āgamāt| evaṁ

kāyavākcittasya yathābhūta

parijñānam adhigamya karmavādinaḥ satvā anādisansāre

svavikalpodbhūtakleśakarmmaprabandāt kośakāra kīṭavat svayam eva

mahāntaṁ duḥkhaskandaṁ saṁskṛtya janmaparamparayopacitaśubhāśubha-

karmmaṇaḥ phalavipākam anubhūya punaḥ

paramārthamaṇḍalakrameṇa kalevaraṁ parityajya| vāyudhātu-

saṁgṛhīto vedanāsaṁprayuktas tṛṣṇayā 'nubaddho dharmmadhātuniḥsyanditaḥ

smṛtyā parigṛhītaḥ kuśalākuśalārakṣaṇasaṁprayuktaḥ pañcaṣaḍ-

varṣopamaḥ śiśuḥ sakalākṣo gandhāhāro vajrādibhi

r apy abhedyaḥ karmmarddhivegavān saptāhāt gatyantarāle sthitvā

svavikalpodbhūtaśubhāśubhakarmmaṇā saṁcodite sati| hetupratyayaṁ ca prāpya

pañcagatiṣu ghaṭīyantranyāyena punaḥ punaḥ pratisandhiṁ gṛhṇāti|

sāṁsārikaduḥkhaṁ cānubhavati tatrāyaṁ pratisandhi

kramaḥ| antarābhavāt prathamam upāyajñāne prajñājñāne cotpanne

sati| mātā kalyā bhavati ṛtumatī ca mātapitarau anuraktau bhavata ity

ubhayānurāgaṇaṁ dṛṣṭvā kāmopadānāt| antarābhavaṁ hitvā vairocanadvāreṇa

praviśya jñānabhūmiñ ca prāpya sūkṣma dhā

tv anupraveśāt| utpadyate| tejas tataḥ salilaṁ salilāj jāyate

pṛthvī evam ubhāv api paramānandasukhena drāvayitvā śukra

śoṇitābhyāṁ miśrībhūya yonimadhye bindurūpeṇa patitaḥ| imam arthaṁ

dyotayati| śrīguhyasamājamahāyoga tantre sarvvatathāgatakāya

vākcittavajrayoṣidbhageṣu vijahāreti| tataḥ krameṇa varddhate|

prathamaṁ kalalākāraṁ tato 'rbbudaṁ tasmāj jāyate peśī tato ghaṇañ

ca ghaṇāt punar vyāyunā preryamāṇāt| śākhāpraśākhāpañcavidhasphoṭākārāḥ

prajāyante tataḥ keśaromana

khādaya indriyāni rūpāṇi vyañjanāni cānupūrvvaśaḥ| iti

bhavotpattikrameṇa kalalādiṣu akṣobhyādīnāṁ yathākramaṁ  nyāsaḥ

pratipattavya āgamāt| tasmād yatnena kāyavākcittavidhikam adhigamya|

samyag vajragurum ārādhya svādhiṣṭhānābhimukho

bhavati| anena krameṇa prāptakāyavākcittaviveko guru

tuṣṭyājñāṁ prāpya mahatīṁ gaṇapūjāṁ kṛtvā vajragurave ṣoḍaśābdikāṁ

kanyāṁ niryātayet| prāk rajomaṇḍalādau mālāsalilādy abhiṣekeṇa

kāyavivekaṁ

labdhvā guhyābhiṣekeṇa vāgvivekam āsādya| tenaiva

cittavivekaṁ ca| yasmād vāyunā sūkṣmarūpeṇa cittaṁ sammiśritāṁ

gatam ityādy āgamaḥ| āryadevapādair apy uktaṁ vāgvivekena vinā

cittavivekaḥ kartuṁ na pāryate| tasmād guhyābhiṣeke

ṇaiva ubhayor api vivekaḥ| tatrāyaṁ guhyābhiṣekakramaḥ pradoṣād

ācārya mālāsalila sambuddhavajravajraghaṇṭādarpaṇanāmācāryā-

nujñāṁ dattvā guhyābhiṣekeṇābhiṣiñced arddharātreṣu śiṣyaṁ guruḥ[|]

tadanu abhraṣṭayauvanāṁ [prajñāṁ] gurave niryā

tayet| guruś ca pañcakulakalāpinīṁ kṛtvā virāgādikrameṇa

kleśaviśuddhipadaṁ paramānandasukham anubhūya mudrā-

ravindasthitabodhicittaṁ gṛhītvā mukhapaṭañ ca baddhvāṅguṣṭhā-

nāmikābhyāṁ śiṣyavaktre nipātayet| śiṣyo [']pi| sva kāyasthān

sarvatathāgatān santarpayāmī

ty abhyavaharet| punar api gṛhītabodhicittena śaṁkhādi

sthitagandhodakam ānodya? maṅgalagāthāpūrvvakāṁ śiṣyam abhiṣiñced

guruḥ| yathoktaṁ bhagavatā guhyendutilake utsṛjya ratnojvalapadmamadhyataḥ

saṁśuṣkamūrttiḥ sakalaṁ jinānāṁ abhiṣiñcya mūrddhnāmala

ratnavarṣair viśuddhavajrodbhavajñānatoyair iti| guhyābhiṣekaṁ labdh

[v]ā svādhiṣṭhānopade śārthaṁ sadbhūtaguṇena guruṁ stunuyāt| anena

stotrarājena śauśīryaṁ nāsti te kāye māmsāsthirudhiraṁ na ca|

indrāyudham ivākāśe kāyaṁ darśitavān asi|| nāma[ye]

[nā]śuciḥ kāye kṣuttṛṣāsambhavo na ca| tvayā lokānuvṛttyarthaṁ

darśitā laukikī kriyā|| udakacandravad grāhyaḥ sarvvadharmmeṣv

aniśritaḥ| anahaṁkāra nirmoha nirālamba namo [']stu te|| sadāsamāhitaś cāsi

gacchan tiṣṭha

vikurvvasi mahārddhyā māyopamasamādhinā| nirnānātva samāpanna

nirālamba namo [']stu te|| tato vajraguruḥ svādhiṣṭhānaṁ pratipādayet|

vimalādarśagataprati

bimbāt| sadgurūpadarśitaṁ yat jñānaṁ tat| svādhiṣṭhānaṁ

bhāvābhāvavinirmuktaṁ avidyāpratipakṣaṁ asecanakavigraham ābhāsatraya-

rūpam alīkākāyādyabhedyarūpaṁ śiṣyasantāne svasamvedyaṁ tac ca

nirupalambhadevatārūpaṁ atra

eva nirdoṣamāyālakṣaṇaṁ ālokopalabdhasaṁjñakaṁ dvādaśa-

māyādṛṣṭāntair upalakṣitaṁ ayaṁ punar bbuddhānāṁ manomaya

kāyaḥ tathā coktam ārya nāgārjunapādaiḥ|| darpaṇe vimale vyaktaṁ

dṛśyate pratibimbataḥ| bhāvābhāva

vinirmukto vajrasatva[ḥ] sucitritaḥ|| sarvvākāravaropetas tv

asecanakavigrahaḥ| darśayet taṁ svaśiṣyāya svādhiṣṭhānaṁ tad ucyate||

māyaiva saṁvṛteḥ satyaṁ kāyaḥ sāmbhogikaś ca saḥ| saiva

gandharvvasatvaḥ syād iti vistaraḥ| kathaṁ sukhamayaṁ tadāloko

palabdham apararūpādy ālambakajñānāviśeṣāt satyaṁ kintu

strīmāyāsparśaviṣaye 'sti viśeṣaḥ| tatra jñānatraya prabhedasya

sukhamayasya sphuṭatāpracāratvāt| tan nidarśanenātrāpi pratipādayituṁ

śakyate| māyopamatvā vi

śeṣāt tathā coktaṁ sarvvaśuddhi viśuddhikrame sarvvāsām eva

māyānāṁ strīmāyaiva viśiṣyate| jñānatrayaprabhedo 'yam prabhedo 'yam

sphuṭam atraiva lakṣyate| rāgaś caiva virāgaś ca tayor antar iti trayam||

dvayendryasamāyogād vajrapadma

samāgamaḥ| jñānadvayasamāyogaḥ samāpattiḥ prakīrttitā| jñāna

dvayasamāpattyā yathoktakaraṇena tu| yat(sic) jñānaṁ prāpyate yatnāt

tad ālokopalabdhakaṁ|| yasya vajrābjasaṁyogaḥ saṁvṛtyāpi na vidyate|

yogasāma[r]thyāt sakṛd apy anubhūtavān|| yathā prabhedaṁ vijñāya

jñānavṛttiḥ svabhāvataḥ| lakṣayet satataṁ yogī tām eva prakṛtiṁ

punaḥ| kathaṁ punar jñānamātreṇa hastapādādi sarvvalakṣeṇopetam mano

mayaḥ kāyo niṣpādyate| varnṇasaṁsthānādi rahitatvāc cittasya|

satyaṁ sūkṣma dhātusahitatvāc cittasya sarvvalakṣaṇopetadevatārūpam

upajāyate| uktañ ca sūtrake cittaṁ varṇṇasaṁsthānarahitaṁ

khasamasvabhāvaṁ paramārthasatyam iva duḥ

sparśaṁ kintu ābhāsam ālokatrayaṁ yasmād vāyudhātur arūpī|

jñānaṁ cārūpi| ata eva vāyunā vijñānāñ ca sambadhyate| tasmād

ābhāsatrayarūpaṁ ālokopalabdhaṁ pañca raśmisahitaṁ sarvva

buddhaguṇopetaṁ| māyopamadevatārūpam utpadyate|

ata eva sūtrāntādinaye pravṛttāḥ| utpattikramabhāvakāś ca māyā

svapnādiṁ upamāṁ vadanti| aupamyaṁ svādhiṣṭhānopadeśaṁ na

prajānanti| karmmāntavibhāge coktaṁ| ābhāsasya parijñānaṁ|

tārkikāṇām agocaraṁ| ābhāsamīlanañ cāpi punar a

tyantadurlabhaṁ|| rajas tamaś ca satvañ cety evaṁ saṁkalpyate paraiḥ|

ābhāsatrayam evaitat svābhāvajñānahāṇitaḥ| bhavanirvvāṇahetuś ca

jñānatrayam idaṁ mataṁ| ābhāsaprakṛtīr yatra sthānaṁ tatra puṇyapāpayoḥ|

ābhāsatrayaśuddhasya ni

yataṁ saugatapadaṁ|| brahmā viṣṇuś ca rudraś ca ye cānye

kapilādayaḥ| prakṛtyābhāsasaṁmūḍhāḥ viśuddhau cāpi sarvvathā|| tasmād

yat mato vaktavyam kāyaṁ vinā jñānaṁ notpadyate| jñānena vinā kāyo

nopala

bhyate| ata evālīkakāyākārāṁ jñānakāyabodhasvabhāvaṁ

nātmavittirūpaṁ grahyākāravyatiriktasvākārābhāvāt| tad vedanam

evātmavedanam upacārāt| ābhāsatrayarūpam utpadyate| svā

dhiṣṭhānaṁ sukhamayaṁ| imam arthaṁ dyotayati mūlasūtre

utpādayantu bhavantaś cittaṁ kāyākāreṇa| kāyaṁ cittākāreṇa cittaṁ

vākpravyāhāreṇeti| evam idaṁ vijñānaṁ prathamavyūhaṁ śarīraṁ parityajya

bindvākṛti


vad bhavati etat pṛthagjanānām antarābhavābhidhānaṁ saṁ

sārahetukaṁ bhavati tad eva guruparvakrameṇa| sarvvabuddho-

padeśaprāptānāṁ svādhiṣṭhānābhidhānaṁ yathā darppaṇamadhyavartti-

citrapaṭāt jñānam upalakṣitaṁ| tathaivātmā 'bhinirmmito


vajrakāyasvabhāvena dvātriṁśanmahāpuruṣalakṣaṇādyalaṅkṛtagātraḥ

saṁkṣepataḥ sarvvabuddhaguṇālaṅkṛta iti yāvat| anena nyāyena

vāyudhātuvijñānayor arūpatvāt| ghṛte ghṛtaṁ nyastam iva saṁmiśrī

bhūyāśeṣalaukikaloko


ttarakṛtyaṁ karoti vijñānadhātuḥ yathoktam anuttarasandhau|

saṁvittimātrakaṁ jñānaṁ ākāśavad alakṣaṇaṁ| kim tu tasya

prabhedo 'sti sandhyā rātridivātmanā|| ālokālokābhāsau ca tathālokopalabdha-

kaṁ cittaṁ trividham i


ty uktam| ādhāras tasya kathyate| vāyunā sūkṣma rūpeṇa jñānaṁ

sanmiśratāṁ gataṁ| niḥsṛtyendriyamārggebhyo viṣayān avalambhate||

ābhāsena yadā yukto vāyur vāhanatāṁ gataḥ| tadā tat prakṛtīḥ sarvvā

astavyastāḥ pravarttayet|| yatra yatra sthito vāyu


s tāṁ tāṁ prakṛtim udvahet| iti vijñānatrayaprakṛtyābhāsa-

vāyudhātūnāṁ karmmaṇām api arūpatvāt| eṣāṁ anyonyamanyanābhāvāt||

śūnyam ity ukataṁ bhagavatā tat kathaṁ śubhāśubhakarmmaṇā tan

manomayadehaṁ badhyate|| anādibhavacakre tathā cābhiḥ ṣa


ṣṭyuttaraśataprakṛtibhiḥ kuśalam akuśalam vā upacitaṁ tad

ihaiva janmani kṣaṇakṣaṇād utpadya pradhvansi bhavatīti tat kathaṁ

janmāntareṣūpalabhyate ca eṣāṁ svabhāvāparijñānāt amukto bhavatīti

nātra saṁdehaḥ| yasmāc chubhāśubhaprakṛtayaḥ śunya


trayasamudbhavā vāyuvāhanavaśāt kṣaṇe kṣaṇe cotpadya viṣayān

anubhūya punaḥ punaḥ prabhāsvaraṁ praviśanti| yathoktam anuttarasandhau||

payodharā yathā naike nānāsaṁsthānavarṇṇakāḥ| udbhūtāḥ

gaganābhogāl layaṁ gaccha


nti tatra vai|| evaṁ prakṛtayaḥ sarvvā ābhāsatrayahetukāḥ|

nirvviśya viṣayān kṛtsnān praviśanti prabhāsvaraṁ|| evaṁ

svabhāvāvijñānāt ajñānapaṭalāvṛtāḥ kṛtvā śubhāśubhaṁ karmma bhramanti

gatipañcake|| ānantaryādikaṁ kṛtvā na


rakeṣu vipacyate|| śubhaṁ dānādikaṁ kṛtvā svargādiṣu mahīyate||

anantajanmasāhasraṁ prāpya caivaṁ punaḥ punaḥ| pūrvvakarmmavipāko

[']yam iti śocati mohataḥ|| prakṛtyābhā ṣa sayogena yena yena kliṣyanti

jantavaḥ| jñātvā tam eva


mucyante jñāni no bhavapañjarād iti|| tathā ca| guhyakośasūtre

[']py uktaṁ| ādiśuddhān sarvvadharmmān iti| śraddhātavyān adhimucyate|

na tasya sattva syāpāyagamanaṁ vadāmi| tat kasya hetoḥ| nāsti

kleśānāṁ rāśībhāvo vilīnā hi sarvvakleśā


hetupratyayasāmagrīsaṁ yogāt utpadyante| utpannamātraś ca

nirudhyante| yaś cotpādaḥ sa eva kleśānāṁ bhaṅga iti tad anena

nyāyenāgamādhigamābhyāṁ vineyajanān prabodhya svādhiṣṭhāna-

kramānusāreṇa kleśasvabhāva


[parijñānena śubhakarmaviśuddhiṁ pratipādya svādhiṣṭhā] nam api

prabhāsvareṇa viśodhya tato vyutthānañ ca saṁpradarśya

yuganaddhasamādhau pratiṣṭhāpayatīti| tāṁ svādhiṣṭhānakramaḥ||

nusāreṇa kāyasyālīkatvaṁ trivajrā vinā bhāvilakṣaṇam

adhimuktimātramataḥ| kāye sarvvākāravaropetādidevatārūpaṁ nopalabhyate|

paramāṇu samūhamātratvāt kāyasya| evaṁ vākparijñānaṁ

praveśādikrameṇa vajrajāpamā


tram| tatrāpi nāsti devatārūpaṁ pratiśrutkopamasvabhāvatvāt|

vācaś cittasya parijñānaṁ prakṛtyābhāsamātraṁ| tatrāpi vajrabimbopama-

devatārūpaṁ nopalabhyate| ābhāsamātratvāc cittasya trivajrābhedya-

māyopamalakṣane


svādhiṣṭhāne [']pi balābhijñāvaśitākaruṇopāyamaṇḍitadevatārūpaṁ na

vidyate| prabhāsvareṇa viśuddhatvāt māyopamasamādhiḥ yathoktaṁ|

laṅkāvatārasūtre māyopamasamādhisamāpanno [']pi yāvat para

mārthasatyādhigamaṁ na labhate tāvat vaivarttiko bhavati tasmāt

viśuddham ābhāsatrayaṁ yāvat vijñānasaṁkalpaḥ tāvat kleśaprabandhaḥ

kleśaprabandhāt punarbhavaḥ prabhāsvare [']pi tāvan nopalabhyate|

sarvākāravaropetade


vatārūpaṁ sarvva śūnyatvāt tasmāt sarvvaśūnyaṁ|

pratyātmavedya lakṣaṇaṁ prabhāsvaraṁ pratipādya tato vyutthānātmake

yuganaddhasamādhau pratiṣṭhāpayati| satyadvayādvaidīkāralakṣaṇe

tatrāyaṁ kramaḥ| astaṁgate sūrye yathālabdopakaraṇena


mālādyabhiṣekaṁ dattvā 'rddharātre guhyābhiṣekaṁ dadyād

anena krameṇa| rūpādyupakaraṇena ca vajragurum ārādhya śiṣyas tasmai

gurave suśikṣitāṁ mudrāṁ niryātayet| tato guruḥ kuryād ābhāsodayaṁ

śādisthitabodhicittenārddharātre guhyābhiṣekeṇa svaśiṣyam

abhiṣiñced guruḥ| prāptābhiṣekah pratyūṣasamaye gurum ārādhayet punaḥ|

strotraiḥ śiṣyaḥ kṛtavatāñjaliḥ| traidhātukavinirmukta ākāśasamatāṁ

gataḥ| no pa 


[ripyasi kāmeṣu] nirālamba namo [']stu te|| prayaccha me mahāvajra

kāyavākcittaśodhanaṁ anādinidhanaṁ śāntaṁ sarvvakleśaviśodhanaṁ||

evam ārādhito yogī sadbhūtaguṇakīrttanaiḥ| śiṣye kāruṇyam utpādya kramam

evam athārabhet| rātribhāgāpagame sūryodaya


prāpya sandhyām atikramyāsmin kṣaṇe bāhyābhisambodhidṛṣṭyā

adhyātmasambodhiṁ prārthayati yathoktam agame| āloko rātribhāgaḥ

sphuṭaravikiraṇah syād divālokabhāsaḥ| sandhyālokopalabdhaṁ prakṛtibhir

asakṛd yujyate svābhir etat| no rātrir


[nāpi saṁ] dhyā na ca bhavati divā yaḥ prakṛtyā vimuktaḥ sa syād

bodhikṣaṇo yaṁ varagurukathito yoginām eva gamyaḥ| naiśaṁ

dhvāntaṁ vinaṣṭaṁ vyapagatam akhilaṁ sāndhyatejaś ca yasmin bhāsvān

nodeti yāvat kṣaṇa iha vimale darśayed bhūtakoṭiṁ| śi


ṣyāyācāryamukhyo vinihatatimiro bāhya sambodhidṛṣṭyā prāpnoty

adhyātmasaukhyaṁ vyapagatakaluṣaṁ buddhabodhiṁ kṣaṇena||

evaṁ śūnyacatuṣṭayasya bāhyanidarśanaṁ pratipādya idānīm adhyātma-

sambodhiṁ pratyātmavedyalakṣaṇaṁ [darśayed anena krameṇa|]

tatrāyaṁ kramaḥ


prathamaṁ marīcikākāraṁ pañcaraśmi[puñjaṁ] paśyet| dvitīyam ālo

[kaṁ] candraraśminibhaṁ tṛtīyam ālokābhāsaṁ sūryaraśminibhaṁ

caturthaṁ tāmasākāraṁ ālokopalabdhakaṁ| tatas tamo 'pagate kṣaṇāt|

prabhāsvaram atisvacchaṁ satatālo


ka svabhāvaṁ paramārthasatyalakṣa[ṇaṁ jñā] nacakṣuṣā paśyet| evaṁ

sarvvaśūnyaṁ sākṣāt kṛtvā dvividhaṁ dhyānam ālambayet| anena

krameṇa tatrāyaṁ kramaḥ| toye nirmmalake nadīsarasi vā binduś ca yo līnakaḥ|

tadvat kramaśo 'nu bhe [daṁ ga]


[di] taṁ yogīśvare nityaśaḥ| ādarśesthanilakṣayaṁ ca kramagataṁ

tadvat saṁprekṣate piṇḍagrāha iti [kramo] vidhimatām evaṁ

samutprekṣate|| atha vajraśiṣyo dvividhābhisambodhikāmopadeśadvividha-

dhyānaṁ vādhigamya| puṣpāñjalidhāritahastaḥ prahasita [vadano bhūtvā]

prajñājñānābhiṣekena prabhāsvaropadeśagrahaṇārthaṁ vajragurum

adhyeṣate| ity anena prayaccha me mahānātha abhisambodhidarśanaṁ

karmmajanmavinirmuktaṁ ābhāsatrayavarjjitaṁ| atha vajrācāryo

[nirīkṣyāmānam iva śiṣyaṁ| tasmai paramārthanāya bodhicittan dadyād anayā

gāthayā|]


[sarvabhāvavigataṁ skandhadhātvāyatana] grāhyagrāhakavarjji taṁ|

dharmmanairātmyasamatayā svacittam ādyanutpannaṁ śūnyatāsvabhāvam iti|

[tataś ca vyākhyānaratnena prabhāsvaraṁ pratipādayed iti

śūnyatrayaviśuddhir yā prabhāsvaram ihocya]


te| sarvvaśūnyapadaṁ tac ca jñānatrayaviśuddhitaḥ| jñānaśuddhipa

daṁ tatvaṁ sarvvajñatvam anuttaraṁ nirvvikāraṁ nirābhāsaṁ

nirdvaṁdvaṁ paramaśivaṁ| guhyendumaṇitilake yogatantre [']py āha|

sarvvāṅgabhāvanātītaṁ [kalpanākalpavarjitaṁ| mātrābindusamātītaṁ etan

maṇḍalam uttama]

m iti| mahāyānasūtraṁ lalitavistare coktaṁ| abhisaṁbodhikāmo

yaṁ śākyasiṁhas tathāgataḥ| mahāśūnyena buddhatvaṁ prāpṇotīty

abhimānataḥ nirañjanānadī tīre niṣadyāsphānakaṁ gataḥ| tilabimbavad

saṁpū[rṇṇāḥ khamadhyasthā jinās tadā ekasvareṇa]


taṁ prāhur acchaṭena jinau rasaṁ|| aviśuddham idaṁ dhyānaṁ

nacaitad iṣṭakāvahaṁ| prabhāsvaratvam ālambya ākāśatalavat param|

prabhāsvarapade prāpte svecchārūpas tu jāyase| sarvvaiśvaryaṁ tadā

prāpya vajrakāyaḥ pramodase|| evaṁ śrutvā tu taṁ śabdaṁ visṛjyāsphā

na kaṁ tataḥ| niśārddhasamaye tatvam ālambaiva jinaurasaḥ|

ṛju[r] naiva ca kāyena na cāpy anṛjur eva ca| sāsano 'sāsa no naiva

maunī nāpy amaunavān| nonmīlitanetraś ca na ca mīlitalocanaḥ|

svacchavyaktaṁ mahājñānaṁ sarvva


[dbhu]taṁ atha paśyati tad vyaktaṁ gurupādaprasādataḥ|

anāgatam atītañ ca varttamānaṁ bhavatrayaṁ tat kṣaṇāt| nikhilaṁ paśyet

prabhāsvaraṁ viśuddha dhṛk| jalacandramarīcyādimāyāguṇa-

vibhūṣitaḥ| aruṇodgamakāle tu vajropamasamādhinā niṣadya [bo]


[dhimūle tu ] so 'karon mārabhañjanaṁ||| saṁprāpya

śākyanāthena tatvajñānam anuttaraṁ| jagattrayahitārthāya tad eveha

pradarśitaṁ| tatvajñānam iti proktam abhisambodhidarśanaṁ

pañcānantaryakarmmā ca mandapuṇyo [']pi yo naraḥ| guruprasādāt prāpnoti

paramādye [']py uktaṁ| rāgādīnāṁ viśuddhir yā pāramādye pradarśitā

sarvvaśūnyaṁ samuddiśya sāpi proktā tathāgataiḥ| nānāsūtreṣu

tantreṣu yat tatvam upa[darśitam] sarvvaśūnyaṁ padaṁ hy etat nānyat

tatrābhidhīya te| catu


[raśīti sāhasre dharmmaskandhe mahā] muneḥ sārāt sārataraṁ proktam

abhisambodhilakṣaṇaṁ|| jaṭī nagnaś ca muṇḍo vā śikhī niḥsaṅgavṛttikaḥ

tais tair vividhair liṅgair abhisambodhikāminaḥ| teṣāṁ tatvavihīnānāṁ

vratacaryādikaḥ kramaḥ|| tatvajñānavihīnatvāt tena mukti

vyavahāramuktaṁ na ca puṇyarūpaṁ na ca pāparūpaṁ| na

siṁhaḥ kṛtsnaṁ jagat so 'vyavyakāyalābhī|| iti prabhāsvarakramaḥ||

|| idānīṁ satyadvayādvai dīkāralakṣaṇaḥ sarvvadvandvavivarjjitaḥ|

yuganaddhakramo 'vatāryate|| saṁvṛtisatyaṁ punar dvādaśadṛṣṭāntena

pratipāditaṁ| svasamvedyaṁ nirupalambhaṁ


devatārūpaṁ paramārthasatyaṁ tu anāhataṁ [anabhi] bhūtaṁ

sarvvaśūnyaṁ na vṛddhir na parihāṇiḥ suviśuddham khasamaṁ

nirmalasvabhāvaṁ evambhūtaṁ prabhāsvaraṁ praviśya niḥsvabhāvo bhūtvā ko

[']sav utthiṣṭhate ko [']sau yuganaddha krameṇāsaṁsāraṁ satsukham a

nubhavati| ko [']sāv avaivarttiko bhavati| kim artho mokṣaḥ kuto mukta

iti praśnaḥ|| atra vajrayāne utpattikramasākṣātkaraṇenāṣṭamīṁ bhūmiṁ

prāpya punaḥ punaḥ sugatāv upapadya yāvan niṣpannakramaṁ na labhate|

śrīguhyasamājata ntrānu


sāreṇa tāvat kalyāṇamitram ārādhayet| [kāyavā] kcittavivekaprāpto [']pi

daśabhūmiṁ prāpya māyopamasamādhiṁ labhate| tam adhigamyā-

bhāsaviśuddhiṁ pratilabhate| nirābhāsād vyutthāya yuganaddhavāhyaṁ krameṇa

buddhakāyaṁ sākṣā


kṛtvā vajropama[samādhi] naḥ sarvvabuddhālaṁkṛto viharati|

yo 'nena nyāyenābhisambodhikrameṇa prabhāsvaropadeśaṁ labdhvā

nirmmalasvabhāvaṁ kāyavākcittaṁ pratyakṣī karoti| sarvvaśūnyatvāt tasya

jñānatrayaviśuddhaḥ prajñāpāramitāsvabhāva


ḥ| nāsti cintā na tūṣṇīṁ so 'pi nirvvā[ṇadhātur

apūrvvaduḥspa]rśaḥ karmmajanmavinirmuktaḥ ābhāsatrayāṇāṁ prabhāsvara-

bhāvo 'tisvacchaḥ| tasmāt [svacchāt] sandhyāsvabhāvamahā-

śūnyodayo bhavati| tasmāt svacchādityaraśmyavabhāsāt sa prabhāvāt

[tasmāt svacchacandraraśmyavabhāsaśītalasvabhāva ]


[śūnyajñānodayo bhava] ti| ataś catuḥśūnyaikībhūtam ālokaṁ

puñjavat| khadyotakākāraṁ| [sarvalokadhātvavabhāsinaṁ sūkṣmadhātu-

sahitaṁ chāyākāram acchedyābhedyaṁ vajrakāyasvabhāvam acyutam

anāsravaṁ ]


[ sarvakleśavāsanāvinirmuktam icchā ] vasitāprāptaṁ jalān mīna

iva suptaprabuddha iva paramānandamūrttirūpaṁ niṣpadyate| yan

nāmarūpātmako mahāvajradhara iti| saṁsārabandhanān muktatvān

[imam eva ] vyutthānakramaṁ śrīguhyasamājamahāyogatantre

sarvvatathāgā varṇṇayanti| aho vajra| aho vajra| aho vajrasya deśanā yatra na

kāyavā kcittaṁ tatra rūpaṁ vibhāvyate| samādhirājasūtre

candraprabhaku[māre]


[ṇāpi ] tathāgatakāyo varṇṇitaḥ| sa khasamavirajā

vararūpadharā aśarīra alakṣaṇaprajñasutā sugaṁbhīraguṇodadhikāruṇikā

dada mūrddhni pāṇimanā pratimeti|| āryāṣṭasahasrikāyām apy āha|

nirvvāṇaṁ māyo


pamasvapnopamam iti vadāmi nirvvāṇād anyaḥ kaści[d] viśiṣṭataro

dharmmaḥ syāt tam apy ahaṁ māyopamaṁ svapnopamam iti vadāmi| tad

e vāpratiṣṭhitaṁ nirvvāṇaṁ mokṣo yuganaddha iti|| atha tasyai


va lakṣaṇaṁ saṁvṛteḥ paramārthasya bhedaṁ jñātvā yathārthataḥ

sammīlanaṁ tu yo vetti tatvaṁ vetti sa paṇḍitaḥ|| bhavanirvvāṇayor

aikyaṁ jñātvā yat pravarttate| kalpanādvayahāniś ca yuganaddhaṁ vadanti tat||

rmmapudgalanairātmyam ity evaṁ nāsti kalpanā yuganaddhaṁ

bhavet tac ca yogināṁ padam avyayaṁ|| sākāraṁ ca nirākāraṁ

jñātvābhinnaṁ| samāsataḥ abhedan tu dvayor yatra tad āhur

yuganaddhakaṁ| prajñopāyasamāyogaṁ jñātvā yatra pravarttate|


[yuganaddhapadaṁ ] tatra vadanti varayoginaḥ| śuddhaṁ

cāpa riśuddhaṁ ca yatra nāstīti sarvvathā tayor e ka va samājaṁ yat tad

bhaved yuganaddhakaṁ|| kalpitaṁ paratantraṁ ca dvidhārūpaṁ na vidyate||

vidyate caikatā yatra tad etad yuganaddhakaṁ|| eta


[c ca nayaṁ jñānaṁ nirvāṇam apratiṣṭhitaṁ| paramā ] nandamūrttitvaṁ

saṁbuddhatvaṁ tathaiva ca| śūraṁgamasamādhiś ca niṣpannakrama

ucyate| vajropamasamādhis tu mā[yopamaś ca kathyate| sūtrāntatantrakalpeṣu

pathante hy abhilāpakāḥ|| nirodhāda yaḥ śabdās te sarve cāsya sūcakāḥ

asmiṁś ca yaḥ sthito yogī ]


[yuga] naddhakrame sthitaḥ| ucyate sa hi tatvajño māyādarśī ca

viśvadhṛk| tathaiva jñānamūrttiś ca satyadvayanaye sthitaḥ|

[bhāvavibhāvakaḥ| māyājālābhisambuddhaḥ sarvajño lo ]

kanāyakaḥ| svasa[mvedyam idaṁ tatvaṁ ] mīlanaṁ satyayor dvayoḥ| ye na

[ yeṣām lābhaṁ na śaktir iha tān prati ] pat sa eṣaḥ||

aparā [ kha dho [']yam alpatvāt kṣantavyo vidūṣāṁ mama vikṣepo pi hi

vālasyata? noty evam vadaṁ guroḥ|| ācāryanītim atulāṁ

bahutantradṛṣṭāṁ saṁgṛhya [puṇyam akhilaṁ yadi bhāvitaṁ me| tena

prabhāsvarapadaṁ kramaśaḥ praviśya mārārivṛṇdavijayena]
