iti | dvādaśemāḥ smṛtayo niṣphalaspandavarjanāya saṃvartante | yaduta tathāgatājñānatikramānupālanavipākagauravasmṛtiḥ | sarvakāyasya niścalasvabhāvatāpratiṣṭhitatānusmṛtiḥ | sati sattvārthe yadaṅgamanupayogi tad dṛḍhatarasmṛtyapekṣāniścalamādhyachandaparāyattīkṛtaṃ sarvadhīraceṣṭāsmṛtiḥ | navakasya bhayotsavādisaṃbandhasaṃbhrame'ṅgamuktasmṛtiḥ | īryāpathacatuṣkākṣepanirūpaṇasmṛtiḥ | antarāntarā ca īryāpathatrikopārakṣaṇārthamīryāpathasaṃpadavalokanasmṛtiḥ | bhāṣaṇakāle cātiprasādauddhatyasaṃrambhapakṣapātādivaśādatimātrāprāsādikahastapādaśiromukhavikāraniyamanasmṛtiḥ | yaḥ śrotā, vaktavyaḥ sa yāvanmātreṇa dhvanitārtha jānāti, tadanatirekeṇa svareṇa bhāṣaṇasmṛtiranyatra parāśaṅkādoṣasaṃbhavāt | aśikṣitajanasamāgamasaṃkaṭe svacittataccittaprasādanāditātparyasmṛtiḥ | cittamattadvipasya śamathastambhe nityabaddhasmṛtiḥ | muhurmuhuśca cittāvasthāpratyavekṣaṇāsmṛtiḥ | mahājanasaṃpātaṃ prāyo'nyakāryatyāgenāpi yathoktasmṛtirakṣā tātparyasmṛtiriti ||



evametābhiḥ smṛtibhirniṣphalaspandanavarjanaṃ sidhyati | sā ca-

smṛtistīvrādarādbhavet |

tatrādaraḥ kāryeṣu sarvabhāvenābhimukhyam | avajñāpratipakṣaḥ | ayaṃ ca -

ādaraḥ śamamāhātmyaṃ jñātvātāpena jāyate || 8||

kastāvadayaṃ śamo nāma? ya āryākṣayamatisūtre śamatha uktaḥ ||



tatra katamā śamathākṣayatā? yā cittasya śāntirūpaśāntiravikṣepakendriyasaṃyamaḥ , anuddhatatā, anunnahanatā acapalatā acañcalatā saumyatā guptatā karmaṇyatā ājāneyatā ekāgratā ekārāmatā saṃgaṇikāvarjanatā vivekaratiḥ kāyavivekaścittāvibhramo'raṇyamukhamanasikāratā alpecchatā | yāvadīryāpathaguptiḥ kālajñatā samayajñatā mātrajñatā muktijñatā subharatā supoṣatetyādi ||

kiṃ punarasya śamasya māhātmyam? yathābhūtajñānajananaśaktiḥ | yasmāt-



samāhito yathābhūtaṃ prajānātītyavadanmuniḥ |

yathoktaṃ dharmasaṃgītau-samāhitamanaso yathābhūtadarśanaṃ bhavati | yathābhūtadarśino bodhisattvasya sattveṣu mahākaruṇā pravartate | evaṃ cāsya bhavati-idaṃ mayā samādhimukhaṃ sarvadharmayathābhūtadarśanaṃ ca sarvasattvānāṃ niṣpādayitavyam | sa tayā mahākaruṇā saṃcodyamāno'dhiśīlamadhicittamadhiprajñaṃ ca śikṣāṃ paripūrya caturāṃ samyaksaṃbodhimabhisaṃbudhyate- tasmānmayā śīlasusthitenāprakampenāśithilena bhavitavyamiti | idaṃ śamathamāhātmyamātmanaḥ pareṣāṃ ca anantāpāyādiduḥkhasamatikramānantalaukikalokottarasukhasaṃpatprakarṣapāraprāptyātmakamavagamya tadabhilāṣeṇātāpo bhāvayitavyaḥ ādīptagṛhāntargateneva śītalajalābhilāṣiṇā | tena tīvra ādaro bhavati śikṣāsu | tenāpi smṛtirupa tiṣṭhati | upasthitasmṛtirniṣphalaṃ varjayati | yaśca varjayati tasyānarthā na saṃbhavanti | tasmādātmabhāvaṃ rakṣitukāmena smṛtimūlamanviṣya nityamupasthitasmṛtinā bhavitavyam ||



ata eva ugraparipṛcchāyāṃ gṛhiṇaṃ bodhisattvamadhikṛtyoktam-tena surāmaireyamadyapramādasthānāt prativiratena bhavitavyamamattenānunmattenācapalenācañcalenāsaṃbhrāntenāmukhareṇānunnaḍenānuddhatenopasthitasmṛtinā saṃprajanyeneti | atraiva ca pravrajitabodhisatvamadhikṛtyoktam-smṛtisaṃprajanyasyāvikṣepa iti ||



tatra smṛtiḥ āryaratnacūḍasūtre'bhihitā-yayā smṛtyā sarvakleśānāṃ prādurbhāvo na bhavati | yayā smṛtyā sarvamārakarmaṇāmavatāraṃ na dadāti | yayā smṛtyā utpathe vā kumārge vā na patati | yayā smṛtyā dauvārikabhūtayā sarveṣāmakuśalānāṃ cittacaitasikānāṃ dharmāṇāmavakāśaṃ na dadāti | iyamucyate samyaksmṛtiriti ||



saṃprajanyaṃ tu prajñāpāramitāyāmuktam- caraṃścarāmīti prajānāti | sthitaḥ sthito'smīti prajānāti | śayānaḥ śayita iti prajānāti | niṣaṇṇo niṣaṇṇo'smīti prajānāti | yathā yathā cāsya kāyaḥ sthito bhavati, tathā tathaiva prajānāti | peyālaṃ | so'tikrāman vā pratikrāman vā saṃprajānacārī bhavati | ālokite saṃmiñjjite prasārite saṃghāṭīpaṭṭapātracīvaradhāraṇe aśite pīte khādite nidrāklamaprativinodane āgate gate sthite niṣaṇṇe supte jāgarite bhāṣite tūṣṇībhāve pratisaṃlayane saṃprajānacārī bhavatīti ||

śīlaṃ hi samādhisaṃvartanīyam || yathoktaṃ candrapradīpasūtre-

kṣipraṃ samādhiṃ labhate niraṅgaṇaṃ viśuddhaśīlasmimi ānuśaṃsāḥ || iti ||

ato'vagamyate- ye kecitsamādhihetavaḥ prayogāste śīlāntargatā iti | tasmātsamādhyarthinā smṛtisaṃprajanyaśīlena bhavitavyam | tathā śīlārthināpi samādhau yatnaḥ, kāryaḥ, tatraiva sūtre vacanāt |

dhyānānuśaṃseṣu hi paṭhayate-



nāsau bhoti anācāro ācāre supratiṣṭhitaḥ |

gocare carate yogī vivarjeti agocaram ||

niṣparidāhavihārī guptaindriyasaṃvṛtaḥ ||iti||



etābhyāṃ ca śīlasamādhibhyāmanyonyasaṃvardhanakarābhyāṃ cittakarmapariniṣpattiḥ | etāvatī ceyaṃ bodhisattvaśikṣā yaduta cittaparikarma, etanmūlatvāt sarvasattvārthānām || uktaṃ hyāryaratnameghecittapūrvagamāśca sarvadharmāḥ | citte parijñāte sarvadharmāḥ parijñātā bhavanti | api tu -



cittena nīyate lokaḥ cittaṃ cittaṃ na paśyati |

cittena cīyate karma śubhaṃ vā yadi vāśubham ||

cittaṃ bhramate'lātavat | cittaṃ bhramate turaṅgavat | cittaṃ dahate devāgnivat | cittaṃ harate mahāmbuvat || sa evaṃ vyupaparīkṣamāṇaścitte sūpasthitasmṛtirviharati, na cittasya vaśaṃ gacchati | api tu cittamevāsya vaśaṃ gacchati | citenāsya vaśībhūtena sarvadharmā vaśībhavantīti ||



tathā āryadharmasaṃgītisūtre'pyuktam-mativikramo bodhisattva āha-yo'yaṃ dharmo dharma ityucyate, nāyaṃ dharmo deśastho na pradeśastho'nyatra svacittādhīno dharmaḥ | tasmānmayā svacittaṃ svārādhitaṃ svadhiṣṭhitaṃ susamārabdhaṃ sunigṛhītaṃ kartavyam | tatkasya hetoḥ? yatra citaṃ tatra guṇadoṣāḥ | nāsti niścittatāyāṃ guṇadoṣāḥ | tatra bodhisattvo doṣebhyaścittaṃ nivārya guṇeṣu pravartayati || taducyatecittādhīno dharmo dharmādhīnā bodhiritiḥ || ayaṃ bhagavan dharmaṃ samādadānaḥ sukhābhisaṃbodhāya saṃvartata iti ||



āryagaṇḍavyūhasūtre'pi varṇitam-svacittādhiṣṭhānaṃ sarvabodhisattvacaryā, svacittādhiṣṭhānaṃ sarvasattvaparipākavinayaḥ || peyālaṃ || tasya mama kulaputra evaṃ bhavati- svacittamevopastambhayitavyaṃ sarvakuśalamūlaiḥ | svacittamevābhiṣyandayitavyaṃ dharmameghaiḥ | svacittameva pariśodhayitavyamāvaraṇāya dharmebhyaḥ | svacittameva (dṛ)ḍhīkartavyaṃ vīryeṇetyādi ||



tathā atraiva māyādevyadarśanākulībhūte āryasudhane ratnanetrāyā nagaradevatāyāstadṛrśanārthamiyamanuśāsanī- cittanagaraparipālanakuśalena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ sarvasaṃsāraviṣayaratyasaṃvasanatayā | cittanagarālaṃkāraprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ daśatathāgatabalādhyālambanatayā | cittanagarapariśodhanaprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyamīrṣyāmātsaryaśāṭhayāpanayanatayā | cittanagaravivardhanābhiyuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ sarvajñatāsaṃbhāramahāvīryavegavivardhanatayā | cittanagaraduryodhanadurāsadatābhinirhāraprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ sarvakleśamārakāyikapāpamitramāracakrānavamardanatayā | cittanagarapravistaraṇaprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ mahāmaitrīsarvajagatsphuraṇatayā | cittanagarapraticchādanaprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ vipuladharmacchatrasarvākuśaladharmapratipakṣābhinirharaṇatayā | cittanagaravivaraṇaprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyam ādhyātmikabāhyavastusarvajagatsaṃprāpaṇatayā | cittanagaradṛḍhasthāmābhinirhāraprayuktena te kulaputra bhavitavyaṃ sarvākuśaladharmasvasaṃtatyavasanatayā | yāvadevaṃ cittanagaraviśuddhayamiyuktena kulaputra bodhisattvena śakyaṃ sarvakuśalamūlasamārjanamanuprāptum | tatkasya hetoḥ? tathā hi tasya bodhisattvasyaivaṃ cittanagarapariśuddhasya sarvāvaraṇāni purato na saṃtiṣṭhinte | buddhadarśanāvaraṇaṃ vā dharmaśravaṇāvaraṇaṃ vetyādi ||



tasmād vyavasthitamevam-cittaparikarmaiva bodhisattvaśikṣeti | taccācapalacetasaḥ ||

śamācca na caleccitaṃ bāhyaceṣṭānivartanāt || 9||



asaṃprajanyaparatantrasya muṣitasmṛteśca cittaṃ calati samīhitādālambanādanyatra nīyamānatvāt | yadā tu smṛtisaṃprajanyena bāhyāśceṣṭā nivartitā bhavanti, tadā tadvaśatvādekasminnālambane nibaddhaṃ yāvadiṣyate tāvattiṣṭhati | tataśca pūrvavadanuśaṃsavistaraḥ | adyatve'pi ca satvārthakṣamo bhavatyeva prasādakaratvāt | katham?

sarvatrācapalo mandamatisnigdhābhibhāṣaṇāt |

āvarjayejjanaṃ bhavyamādeyaścāpi jāyate ||10||



etadeva ca bodhisattvasya kṛtyaṃ yaduta sattvāvarjanam | yathā āryadharmasaṃgītisūtre āryapriyadarśanena bodhisattvena paridīpitam- tathā tathā bhagavan bodhisattvena pratipattavyaṃ yatsahadarśanenaiva sattvāḥ prasīdeyuḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ? na bhagavan bodhisattvasyānyatkaraṇīyamasti anyatra sattvāvarjanāt | sattvaparipāka eveyaṃ bhagavan bodhisattvasya dharmasaṃgītiriti ||



evaṃ punarakriyamāṇe ko doṣa ityāha-



anādeyaṃ tu taṃ lokaḥ paribhūya jināṅkuram |

bhasmacchanno yathā vahniḥ pacyeta narakādiṣu ||11||



yathā prāgupadarśitam ||

yena cāsya paribhavaḥ , evamanarthaḥ-



ratnameghe jinenoktaḥ tena saṃkṣepasaṃvaraḥ |

yenāprasādaḥ sattvānāṃ tadyatnena vivarjayet ||12||



iti | yathāha- katame ca te bodhisattvasamudācārāḥ? yāvadiha bodhisattvo nāsthāne viharati nākāle | nākālabhāṇī bhavati, nākālajño bhavati, nādeśajño bhavati | yatonidānamasyāntike sattvā aprasādaṃ prativedayeyuḥ, sa sarvasattvānurakṣayā ātmanaśca bodhisaṃbhāraparipūraṇārthaṃ saṃpanneryāpatho bhavati, mṛdubhāṇī mandabhāṇī asaṃsargabahulaḥ pravivekābhimukhaḥ suprasannamukha iti ||



ata eva dharmasaṃgītisūtre deśitam-yaḥ sattvān rakṣati, sa śīlaṃ rakṣatīti ||

anayā kanīyena mātṛgrāmeṇa saha rahovasthādiṣu lokarakṣā ca kṛtā syāt | evaṃ bhogyeṣu jalasthaleṣu mūtrapurīṣaśrleṣmapūyādīnāṃ kutsitānāṃ rahasyarahasi cotsargaṃ na kuryāddevamanuṣyacittarakṣārtham ||



saddharmasmṛtyupasthāne ca raha utsiṣṭaṃ kṛtvā anutsiṣṭāhāreṣvadadataḥ pretagatiḥ paṭhayate ||

tathā bodhisattvaprātimokṣe'pyaprasādaparihāra uktaḥ- na purato dantakāṣṭhaṃ khāditavyaṃ na purataḥ khelo nikṣiptavya iti || eṣa ca gauravalajjāvidhiḥ sarvadraṣṭavyo na brahmacāriṣveva | atra tu sūtre brahmacāryadhikāraḥ teṣu gurutarāpattibhayasaṃdarśanārtham || yatha atraivāha-noccairmāṣiṇā bhavitavyamiti || na cāyaṃ vidhiḥ prādeśikaḥ | tathā brahmaparipṛcchāyāmapyuktam- na ca vadhakasadṛśena bodhisattvena bhavitavyamiti | tathā prātimokṣādapi lokāprasādakaramanveṣya varjanīyam | tatra tāvat-

mukhapūraṃ na bhuñjīta saśabdaṃ prasṛtānanaḥ |

pralambapādaṃ nāsīta na bāhuṃ mardayetsamam ||



evaṃ svayamapyutprekṣya dṛṣṭvā śrutvā ca lokāprasādaṃ rakṣet | aprasādakaravacanavarjanaṃ tu na sukaramiti smaraṇabodhanārthamupadarśyate | āryasāgaramatisūtre deśitam-nāvalīnavacano bhavati | na vyavakīrṇavacanaḥ | nāksyandanavacanaḥ | nojjvālanavacanaḥ | na rāgānunītavacanaḥ | na prākṛtavacanaḥ | nāsaṃrakṣitavacanaḥ | na vyāpādasaṃdhukṣaṇavacanaḥ | na cañcalavacanaḥ | na capalavacanaḥ | na naṭaraṅgavacanaḥ | na mukhasākṣyavaropaṇavacano bhavatīti ||



āryatathāgataguhyasūtre'pyāha- na khalu punaḥ kulaputra bodhisattvasya vāg raktā vā duṣṭā vā mūḍhā vā kliṣṭā vā kṣuṇṇavyākaraṇā vā svapakṣotkarṣaṇavacanā vā, parapakṣanigrahavacanā vā, ātmavarṇānunayavacanā vā, paravarṇapratighavacanā vā, pratijñottāraṇavacanā vā, ābhimānikavyākaraṇavacanā veti ||



āryadaśabhūmakasūtre'pyuktam-yeyaṃ vāgamanojñā svasaṃtānaparasaṃtānavināśanī tathārūpāṃ vācaṃ prahāya, yeyaṃ vāk snigdhā mṛdvī manojñā madhurā priyakaraṇī manaāpakaraṇī hitakaraṇī karṇasukhā hṛdayaṃgamā premaṇī varṇaviṣpaṣṭā vijñeyā śravaṇīyā aniśritā bahujanakāntā bahujanapriyā bahujanamanaāpā vijñapraśastā sarvasattvahitasukhāvahā manautplāvakarī manaḥprahlādanakarī svaparasaṃtānapramodanakarī rāgadveṣamohasarvakleśapraśamanī, tathārūpāṃ vācaṃ niścārayati | yāvaditihāsapūrvakamapi vacanaṃ parihārya pariharatīti ||



āryagaganagañjasūtre tūktam-guruvacanānavamardanatayā, paravacanānācchindanatayā cādeyagrāhyavacano bhavatīti ||



dharmasaṃgītisūtre'pyuktam-gaganagañjo bodhisattva āha- na bodhisattvenaiṣā vāgbhāṣitavyā yayā paro vyāpadyeta | na sā vāgbhāṣitavyā yayā paraṃ tāpayet | na bodhisattvena sā vāgbhāṣitavyā yatparo jānīyāt | na sā vāgbhāṣitavyā yāpārthā nirarthā | na bodhisattvena sā vāgbhāṣitavyā yayā na vidyāmutpādayet | na sā vāgbhāṣitavyā yā sattvānāṃ na hṛdayaṃgamā na paurī na karṇasukhā, na sā vāgbhāṣitavyeti ||

saṃkṣepatastu parāprasādarakṣā āryasāgaramatisūtre deśitā-apara ekadharmo mahāyānasaṃgrahāya saṃvartate-svaskhalitapratyavekṣaṇatayā sarvasattvānurakṣeti ||



eṣā rakṣātmabhāvasya



yathā parairna nāśyeta | yathā na parānna nāśayet | asya tu granthavistarasyāyaṃ piṇḍārtho bodhisattvena manasā nityaṃ dhārayitavyaḥ-



suniścalaṃ suprasannaṃ dhīraṃ sādaragauravam |

salajjaṃ sabhayaṃ śāntaṃ parārādhanatatparam |

ātmasattvavaśaṃ nityamanavadyeṣu vastuṣu |

nirmāṇamiva nirmānaṃ dhārayāmyeṣa mānasam ||iti||



kimetāvatī ātmabhāvarakṣā? na hi | kiṃ tarhi-



bhaiṣajyavasanādibhiḥ |



saha | tatra dvividhaṃ bhaiṣajyam | satatabhaiṣajyaṃ glānapratyayabhaiṣajyaṃ ca | tatra satatabhaiṣajyamadhikṛtya āryaratnameghe'bhihitam- tasmātpiṇḍapātrādekaṃ pratyaṃśaṃ sabrahmacāriṇāṃ sthāpayati | dvitīyaṃ duḥkhitānāṃ tṛtīyaṃ vinipatitānāṃ caturthamātmanā paribhuṅkte | paribhuñjāno na raktaḥ paribhuṅkte'sakto'gṛddho'nadhyavasitaḥ | anyatra yāvadeva kāyasya sthitaye, yāpanāyai | tathā paribhuṅkte yathā nātisaṃlikhito bhavati, nātigurukāyaḥ | tatkasya hetoḥ? atisaṃlikhito hi kuśalapakṣaparāṅmukho bhavati | atigurukāyo middhāvaṣṭabdho bhavati | tena taṃ piṇḍapātaṃ paribhujya kuśalapakṣāmi mukhena bhavitavyamityādi ||



āryaratnarāśāvapyuktam-tena grāmaṃ vā nagaraṃ vā nigamaṃ vā piṇḍāya caratā dharmasaṃnāhaṃ saṃnahyapiṇḍāya cartavyam | tatra katamo dharmasaṃnāhaḥ? amanaāpāni rūpāṇi dṛṣṭvā na pratihavyantam | manaāpāni dṛṣṭvā nānunetavyam | evaṃ manaāpāmanaāpeṣu śabdagandharasaspraṣṭavyeṣu vijñapteṣu nānunetavyaṃ na pratihantavyam | indriyasusaṃvṛtenānutkṣiptacakṣuṣā yugamātraprekṣiṇā | dāntājāneyacittena pūrvadharmamanasikāramanutsṛjatā nāmiṣaprakṣiptayā saṃtatyā piṇḍāya cartavyam, sapadānacāriṇā ca bhavitabyam | yataśca piṇḍapāto labhyate tatrānunayo na kartavyaḥ | yataśca na labhyate tatra pratighāto notpādayitavyaḥ | daśakulapraveśe na caikādaśātkulād bhikṣā na labhyate | tathāpi na paritaptavyam, evaṃ ca cittamutpādayitavyam- evaṃ bahukṛtyā hyete śramaṇabrāhmaṇagṛhapatayaḥ | na tairavaśyaṃ mama dātavyam | idaṃ tāvadāścaryaṃ yanmāmete samanvāharanti | kaḥ punarvādo yadbhikṣāṃ dāsyanti | tenaivamaparitapatā piṇḍāya cartavyam | ye cāsya sattvāścakṣuṣa ābhāsamāgacchanti strīpuruṣadārakadārikāḥ, antaśastiryagyonigatāḥ, tatra maitrīkaruṇācittamutpādayitavyam-tathāhaṃ kariṣyāmi yathā ye me sattvāścakṣuṣā ābhāsamāgacchanti, piṇḍapātaṃ vā dāsyanti, tān sugatigāminaḥ kariṣyāmi | tādṛśaṃ yogamāpatsye | tena lūhaṃ vā praṇītaṃ vāpiṇḍapātaṃ saṃgṛhya samantāccaturdiśaṃ vyavalokayitavyam-ka iha grāmanagaranigame daridraḥ sattvaḥ, yasyāsmātpiṇḍapātātsaṃvibhāgaṃ kariṣyāmi? yadi daridraṃ sattvaṃ paśyati tena tatpiṇḍapātātsaṃvibhāgaḥ kartavyaḥ | atha na kaṃcitsatvaṃ daridraṃ paśyati, tenaivaṃ cittamutpādayitavyam-santyanābhāsagatāḥ sattvā ye mama cakṣuṣa ābhāsaṃ nāgacchanti | teṣāmitaḥ piṇḍapātādagraṃ pratyaṃśaṃ niryātayāmi | dattādānāḥ paribhuñjantām | tena tatpiṇḍapātaṃ gṛhītvā tadaraṇyāyatanamabhiruhya dhautapāṇinā śobhanasamācāreṇa śramaṇacāritrakalpasamanvāgatenādhiṣṭhānadhiṣṭhitena paryaṅkaṃ baddhā sa pīṇḍapātaḥ paribhoktavyaḥ | peyālaṃ | paribhuñjatā caivaṃ manasikāra utpādayitavyaḥ- santyasmin kāye'śītiḥ krimikulasahastrāṇi | tānyanenaivaujasā sukhaṃ phāsuṃ viharantu | idānīṃ caiṣāmāmiṣeṇa saṃgrahaṃ kariṣyāmi | bodhiprāptaśca punardharmeṇa saṃgrahaṃ kariṣyāmi | yadi punarasya lūhaṃ piṇḍapātaṃ bhavati, tenaivaṃ cittamutpādayitavyam-lūhāhāratayā me laghuḥ kāyo bhaviṣyati prahāṇakṣamaḥ, uccāraprastrāvaniṣyandaśca me parītto bhaviṣyati | śraddhādeyaṃ ca parīttaṃ bhaviṣyati | kāyalaghutā cittalaghutā ca me bhaviṣyati | alpaglānamiddhaśca me bhaviṣyati | yadā punarasya prabhūtaḥ piṇḍapāto bhavati, tatrāpi mātrābhojinā bhavitavyam utsarjanadharmiṇā ca, tataḥ piṇḍapātādanyatarāyāṃ śilāyāmavatīryaivaṃ cittamutpādayitavyam-ye kecinmṛgapakṣisaṃghā āmiṣabhojanenārthikāste dattādānāḥ paribhuñjantāmiti ||



punarāha- tena sarveṇa rasasaṃjñā notpādayitavyā | peyālaṃ | caṇḍālakumārasadṛśena mayā bhavitavyam | cittakāyacaukṣeṇa, na bhojana caukṣeṇa | tatkasmāddhetoḥ? kiyatpraṇītamapi bhojanaṃ bhuktam, sarva tatpūtiniṣyandaparyavasānaṃ durgandhaparyavasānaṃ pratikūlaparyavasānam | tasmānmayā na praṇītabhojanākāṅkṣiṇā bhavitavyam | tena naivaṃ cittamutpādayitavyam- puruṣo me piṇḍapātaṃ dadāti na strī | strī me piṇḍapātaṃ dadāti na puruṣaḥ | dārako me piṇḍapātaṃ dadāti na dārikā | dārikā me piṇḍapātaṃ dadāti na dārakaḥ | praṇītaṃ labhe'haṃ na lūham | satkṛtya labhe'haṃ nāsatkṛtya | capalaṃ labhe'haṃ na kṛcchreṇa | praviṣṭamātraṃ ca māṃ samanvāhareyuḥ | na me kaścidvikṣepo bhavet | sunihitāllabhe'haṃ pra[ṇī] tānnānārasāllabhe'ham | na hīnadaridrabhojanaṃ labhe'ham, pratyudgaccheyurmāṃ strīpuruṣadārakadārikāḥ | ime te sarve'kuśalā manasikārā notpādayitavyāḥ | peyālaṃ prāyeṇa hi sattvā rasagṛddhā bhojanahetoḥ pāpāni karmāṇi kṛtvā narakeṣupadyante | ye ye punaḥ saṃtuṣṭā agṛddhā alolupā rasapratiprastrabdhā jihvendriyasaṃtuṣṭāḥ kiyallūhenāpi bhojanena yāpayanti, teṣāṃ cyutānāṃ kālagatānāṃ svargopapattirbhavati sugatigamanaṃ bhavati devamanuṣyeṣu | te devopapannāḥ sudhāṃ paribhuñjate | evaṃ kāśyapa piṇḍacārikeṇa bhikṣuṇā rasatṛṣṇāṃ vinivartayitvā nidhyāptacitena suparipakkān kulmāṣān paribhuñjatā na paritaptavyam | tatkasmāddhetoḥ? kāyasaṃdhāraṇārtha mārgasaṃdhāraṇārthaṃ mayā bhojanaṃ paribhoktavyam | peyālaṃ | yadi punaḥ kāśyapa piṇḍacāriko bhikṣurmeghākulavṛṣṭikālasamaye vartamāne na śakruyāt piṇḍāyāvatartum, tena maitryāhārasaṃnaddhena dharmacintāmanasikārapratiṣṭhitena dvirātraṃ trirātraṃ vā bhaktacchandacchinnena evaṃ saṃjñā utpādayitavyā- santi yāmalaukikāḥ pretā duṣkarakarmakāriṇo ye varṣaśatena khelapiṇḍamapyāhāraṃ na pratilabhante | tanmayā dharmayoniśaścintāpratiṣṭhitena kāyadaurvalyaṃ vā cittadaurbalyaṃ vā notpādayitavyam | adhivāsayiṣyāmi kṣutpipāsām, na punarāryamārgabhāvanāyā vīryaṃ straṃsayiṣyāmi | pe || yatra kule piṇḍapātaṃ śuciṃ kārayettatra kule āsane nipadya dhārmī kathā kartavyā | yāvanna sa piṇḍapātaḥ śucīkṛto bhavet, tena piṇḍapātaṃ gṛhītvā utthāyāsanātprakramitavyam | piṇḍacārikeṇa kāśyapa bhikṣuṇā nāvabhāsakareṇa bhavitavyam, na lapanā na kuhanā kartavyā ||



tatra katamo'vabhāsaḥ ? yatpareṣāmevaṃ vācaṃ bhāṣate- lūho me piṇḍapāto rūkṣo me piṇḍapāta āsīt | na ca me yāvadartha bhuktam | bahujanasādhāraṇaśca me piṇḍapātaḥ kṛtaḥ | alpaṃ me bhuktam, jighatsito'smīti | yatkiṃcidevaṃrūpamavabhāsanimittam, iyamucyate cittakuhanā | sarvametatpiṇḍacārikeṇa bhikṣuṇā na kartavyamupekṣakabhūtena | yatpātre patitaṃ lūhaṃ vā praṇītaṃ vā aśubhaṃ vā śubhaṃ vā , tatparibhoktavyamaparitapyamānenāśayaśuddhena dharmanidhyaptibahulena | kāyayāpanārthamāryamāgasyopastambhārtha sa piṇḍapātaḥ paribhoktavya iti ||



tathā āryograparipṛcchāyāmapyuktam- yasyāścāntike piṇḍapātaṃ paribhujya na śakrotyātmanaḥ parasya cārthaṃ paripūrayitum, anujānāmyahaṃ asya piṇḍacārikasya bodhisattvasya nimantraṇamiti ||



evaṃ tāvatsatatabhaiṣajyenātmabhāvarakṣā kāryā | tatrāpi na matsyamāṃsena, laṅkāvatārasūtre pratiṣiddhatvāt ||



tathā hyuktam- māṃsaṃ sarvamabhakṣyaṃ kṛpātmano bodhisattvasyeti vadāmi |peyālaṃ ||

svājanyād vyabhicārācca śukraśoṇitasaṃbhavāt |

udvejanīyaṃ bhūtānāṃ yogī māṃsaṃ vivarjayet ||



māṃsāni ca palāṇḍūṃśca madyāni vividhāni ca |

gṛñjanaṃ laśunaṃ caiva yogī nityaṃ vivarjayet ||

mrakṣaṇaṃ varjayetailaṃ śalyaviddheṣu na svapet |

chidrāchidreṣu sattvānāṃ yacca sthānaṃ mahābhayam |peyālaṃ ||

lābhārthaṃ hanyate prāṇī māṃsārthaṃ dīyate dhanam |

ubhau tau pāpakarmāṇau pacyete rauravādiṣu ||yāvat ||

yo'tikramya munervākyaṃ māṃsaṃ bhakṣeta durmatiḥ |

lokadvayavināśārthaṃ dīkṣitaḥ śākyaśāsane ||

te yānti paramaṃ ghoraṃ narakaṃ pāpakāriṇaḥ |

rauravādiṣu raudreṣu pacyante māṃsakhādakāḥ ||

trikoṭiśuddhaṃ māṃsaṃ vai akalpitamayācittam |

acoditaṃ ca naivāsti tasmānmāṃsaṃ na bhakṣayet ||

māṃsaṃ na bhakṣayedyogī mayā buddhaiśca garhitam |

anyonyabhakṣaṇāḥ sattvā kravyādakulasaṃbhavāḥ ||yāvat||

durgandhaḥ kutsanīyaśca unmattaścāpi jāyate |

caṇḍālapukkasakule ḍombeṣu ca punaḥ punaḥ ||

ḍākinījātiyonau ca māṃsāde jāyate kule |

ṛkṣamārjārayonau ca jāyate'sau narādhamaḥ ||

hastikakṣye mahāmeghe nirvāṇaṅgulimālike |

laṅkāvatārasūtre ca mayā māṃsaṃ vigarhitam ||

buddhaiśca bodhisattvaiśca śrāvakaiśca vigarhitam |

khādate yadi nirlajja unmatto jāyate sadā ||

brahmaṇeṣu ca jāyate athavā yogināṃ kule |

prajñāvān dhanavāṃścaiva māṃsādyānāṃ vivarjanāt ||

dṛṣṭaśrataviśaṅkābhiḥ sarva māṃsaṃ vivarjayet |

tārkikā nāvabudhyante kravyādakulasaṃbhavāḥ ||

yathaiṣa rāgo mokṣasya antarāyakaro bhavet |

tathaiva māṃsamadyādi antarāyakaraṃ bhavet ||

vakṣyantyanāgate kāle māṃsādā mohavādinaḥ |

kalpikaṃ niravadyaṃ ca māṃsaṃ buddhānuvarṇitam ||

bheṣajyamiva āhāraṃ putramāṃsopamaṃ punaḥ |

mātrayā pratikūlaṃ ca yogī piṇḍaṃ samācaret ||

maitrīvihāriṇā nityaṃ sarvathā garhitaṃ mayā |

siṃhavyāghramṛgādyaiśca saha ekatra saṃbhavet ||

tasmānna bhakṣayenmāṃsamudvegajanakaṃ nṛṇām |

mokṣadharmaniruddhatvādāryāṇāmeṣa vai dhvajaḥ ||

yattu jñānavatīparivarte māṃsabhakṣaṇaṃ paṭhayate, tanmahārthasādhakatvānnirdoṣam ||

evaṃ hi tatroktam-

eṣo'kariṣyadya[di] bhikṣu kālaṃ

samādhiśabdo'pi hi jambudvīpe |

niruddhu sattvāna sadābhaviṣyat

cikitsite asmi samādhi labdhaḥ ||

sa ca mahākaruṇābhiyuktaḥ | tena asminna maitrīśaṅkāpi nāstītyadoṣaḥ ||



yadyapyāryaratnameghe'bhihitam- smāśānikena nirāmiṣeṇa bhavitavyamiti, tadanyatraivaṃjātīyasattvārthasaṃdarśanārtham | vinaye'pi yadanujñātaṃ tattu trikoṭipariśuddhabhakṣaṇe na prahāṇāntarāya iti tatparityāgena śuddhadṛṣṭīnāmabhimānanirāsārtham | tadgṛddhatayā ca bhavyānāṃ śāsanāvatāraparihārārtham ||



tathā hyuktaṃ laṅkāvatārasūtre- tatra tatra deśanāpāṭhe śikṣāpadānāmānupūrvī badhnanniśreṇīpadavinyāsayogena | trikoṭiṃ badhvā | tatra uddiśya kṛtāni pratiṣiddhāni tato'ntaśaḥ prakṛtimṛtānyapi pratiṣiddhānīti ||

uktaṃ satatabhaiṣajyam | glānapratyayabhaiṣajyaṃ tatsevyameva ||



śrāvakavinaye'pi tāvadātmārthaṃ brahmacaryavāsārthaṃ pātracīvaramapi vikrīya kāyasaṃdhāraṇamuktam, kiṃ punaraparimitajanaparitrāṇahetorbodhisattvaśarīrasya | durlabhā cidṛśī kṣaṇapratilābhotsavasaṃpada iti | tatpradarśanārthaṃ ca bhagavatā tatra svayaṃ bhaiṣajyopayogaḥ pradarśitaḥ ||



uktaṃ ca āryaratnameghasūtre- tairyadā pracāritaṃ bhavati, tadā satyāṃ velāyāmasatyāṃ vā teṣāmimānyevaṃrūpāṇi kāyopastambhanānyupakaraṇāni na labhyante'bhyavahartum- yaduta sarpirvā tailaṃ vā mūlaraso vā gaṇḍaraso vā phalaraso vā | na cānyānabhyavaharato dṛṣṭvā pratighacittamutpādayati | yadi punaḥ khalu paścādbhaktiko bodhisattvo vā glāno bhavati, yathārūpeṇāsya glānyena jīvitāntarāyo bhavati kuśalapakṣāntarāyo vā, tena niṣkaukṛtyena bhūtvā nirvicikitsakena bhaiṣajyacittamupasthāpya pratinisevyānīti ||



vasanopabhogaprayojanamugraparipṛcchāsūtre'bhihitam-hṛīrapatrāpyakau(pī)naḥ pracchādanārtha tu śramaṇaliṅgasaṃdarśanārthamimāni ca kāṣāyāṇi devamānuṣāsurasya lokasya caityamiti caityārtha samyagdhāritavyāni | nirvṛtivirāgaratnāni etāni, na rāgaraktāni | upaśamānukūlānyetāni, na saṃkleśasaṃdhukṣaṇānukūlāni | emiśca kāṣāyairvivṛtapāpā bhaviṣyāmaḥ, sukṛtakarmakāriṇo na cīvaramaṇḍanānuyogamanuyuktāḥ | etāni ca kāṣāyāṇyāryamārgasaṃbhārānukūlānīti kṛtvā tathā kariṣyāmo yathā naikakṣaṇamapi sakaṣāyāḥ kāye kāṣāyāṇi dhārayiṣyāma iti ||



atra ca kāraṇaṃ ratnarāśisūtre'bhihitam-

ye punaste kāśyapa vai daryā[rpāt] asaṃyatā itaḥ śramaṇaguṇadharmādudurāḥ kāye kāṣāyāṇi vastrāṇi dhārayanti, na caiteṣu gauravamutpādayati | tatra kāśyapa śramaṇavarṇapratirūpakaṃ nāama pratyekanarakam | tatra kaśyapa pratyekanarake śramaṇarūpapratirūpeṇa tāḥ kāraṇāḥ kāryante ādīptacailā ādīptaśīrṣā ādīptapātrā ādīptāsanā ādīptaśayanāḥ | yaḥ kaścittatra teṣāmupabhogaparibhogaḥ, sa sarva ādīptaḥ saṃprajvalita ekajvalībhūtaḥ | tatra taiḥ śramaṇavarṇarūpeṇa duḥkhāṃ vedanāmanubhavantīti ||



āryaratnameghe'pyuktam- yadi bhavedabhyavakāśiko bodhisattvo glānakāyo'prativalakāyastena vihārasthitenaivaṃ citamutpādayitavyam- kleśapratipakṣārthaṃ tathāgatena dhutaguṇāḥ prajñaptāḥ | tathāhaṃ kariṣyāmi, yathā vihārastha eva kleśānāṃ prahāṇāya ghaṭiṣyāmi | tatra ca vihāre na gṛddhimutpādayāmi nādhyavasānam | evaṃ cāsya bhavati- kartavyo dānapatīnāmanugraho nāsmābhirātmabharibhirbhavitavyamiti ||



punaratraivāha- te śayyāṃ kalpayanto dakṣiṇena pārśvena śayyāṃ kalpayanti | pādasyopari pādamādhāya cīvarai susaṃvṛtakāyāḥ smṛtāḥ saṃprajānānā utthānasaṃjñina ālokasaṃjñinaḥ śayyāṃ kalpayanti | na ca nidrāsukhamāsvādayanti, na pārśvasukhamanyatra yāvadevaiṣāṃ mahābhūtānāṃ sthitaye yāpanāyai | ityanayā diśā sarvaparibhogāḥ sattvārthamadhiṣṭhātavyāḥ |



ātmatṛṣṇopabhogāttu kliṣṭāpattiḥ prajāyate ||13||



yathoktaṃ candrapradīpasūtre--



te bhojanaṃ svādurasaṃ praṇītaṃ

labdhvā ca bhuñjanti ayuktayogāḥ |

teṣāṃ sa āhāru badhāya bhotī

yatha hastipotāna viṣā [bisā] adhautāḥ ||iti ||



āryaratnarāśisūtre'pi bhagavatā śraddhādeyaparibhoge parikīrtite-atha tasyāmeva parṣadi yogācārāṇāṃ bhikṣūṇāṃ dve śate imaṃ dharmaparyāyaṃ śrutvā prarudite | evaṃ ca vācamabhāṣantakālaṃ vayaṃ bhagavan kariṣyāmo na punaraprāptaphalā ekapiṇḍapātamapi śraddhādeyasya paribhokṣyāmaḥ | bhagavānāha- sādhu sādhu kulaputrā evaṃrūpairlajjibhiḥ kaukṛtyasaṃpannaiḥ paralokāvadyabhayadarśibhiridaṃ pravacanaṃ śobhate | api tu, dvayorahaṃ kāśyapa śraddhādeyamanujānāmi | katamayordvayoḥ? yuktasya muktasya ca | yadi bhikṣavo bhikṣuryukto yogācāro mama śikṣāyāṃ pratipannaḥ sarvasaṃskāreṣvanityadarśī sarvasaṃskāraduḥkhaviditaḥ sarvadharmeṣvanātmādhimuktiḥ śāntanirvāṇābhikāṅkṣī sumerumātrairālopaiḥ śraddhādeyaṃ bhuñjīta, atyantapariśuddhaiva tasya sā dakṣiṇā bhavati | yeṣāṃ ca dāyakānāṃ dānapatīnāṃ sakāśācchraddhādeyaṃ paribhuktaṃ tatasteṣāṃ dāyakadānapatīnāṃ maharddhikaḥ puṇyavipāko bhavati mahādyutikaḥ | tatkasmāddhetoḥ? agramidamaupadhikānāṃ puṇyakriyāvastūnāṃ yeyaṃ maitracittasamāpattiḥ | tatra kāśyapa yo bhikṣurdāyakasya dānapaterantikāccīvarapiṇḍapātaṃ paribhujya apramāṇaṃ cetaḥsamādhiṃ samāpadyate, apramāṇastasya dāyakasya dānapateḥ puṇyakriyāvipākaḥ pratikāṅkṣitavyaḥ | syātkāśyapa trisāhastramahāsāhastrāyāṃ lokadhātau mahāsamudrāṇāṃ kṣayaḥ, na tveva tasya puṇyaniṣyandasya kaścitkṣaya iti ||



tadevaṃ piṇḍapātagamanārambhe bhojanārambhe vā triṣu sthāneṣu smṛtirupasthāpyā dāyakānugrahe, kāyakrimisaṃgrahe, sarvasattvārthasādhake ca saddharmaparigrahe ||



tathāgatājñāsaṃpādane tu sarvakāryeṣu smṛtiḥ kāryā | ādiśabdānmantrairapi rakṣā kāryā ||

tatrāpi tāvadimāṃ trisamayarājoktāṃ vidyāṃ maṇḍalasamayārthamuccārayet-namaḥ sarvabuddhabodhisattvānām | oṃ viraji 2 mahācakraviraji | sata 2 sārata 2 trapi 2 vidhamani | sabhajani | saṃbhajani | taramati | siddha agre tvaṃ svāhā ||



anena sarvamaṇḍalapraviṣṭo bhavati | athavā tathāgatahṛdayamaṣṭasahastraṃ japet | sa laukikalokottaramaṇḍalapraviṣṭo bhavati | katamacca tat? namastraiyabdhikānāṃ tathāgatānāṃ sarvatrāpratihatāvāptidharmatābalinām | oṃ asamasama samantato'nantanāvāptiśāsani | hara 2 smara smaraṇa vigatarāgabuddhadharmate | sara 2 samabalā | hasa 2 | traya 2 | gagana mahācalarakṣaṇa | jvala jvalana sāgare svāhā ||



ayaṃ sarvatathāgatānāmātmabhāvaḥ | atrānuttaraṃ gāravaṃ bhāvayitavyam | anena ādikarmikā api sattveṣvanantaṃ buddhakṛtyaṃ kurvanti ||

ayameva paramāṃ rakṣāṃ mārādibhyaḥ sarva duṣṭebhyaḥ karoti | hastatāḍena bhasmanā sarṣapairudakena dṛṣṭayā manasā vā sīmāvandhaṃ karoti ||



vyādhiṣu bhaiṣajyamudakaṃ cābhimantryopayojyam | vanakusumāni vā caitye pratimāyāṃ saddharma pustake vā samāhito nivedayet | pakṣaprayogānmahāvyādhibhirapi mucyate | buddhabodhisattvālambanena sarvasattvārthābhilāṣiṇā ca cittena bhadracarividhipūrvakaṃ ca japtavyaḥ | ayaṃ vidhirasya kalpasyāvasāne draṣṭavyaḥ | trisamayajāpinaścāmnāyato na doṣaḥ | utsiṣṭasyāpyaśucerna doṣaḥ | mudrākārā na bhakṣaṇīyā na laṅghanīyā | na mañcārohaḥ kartavyaḥ | na madyaṃ pātavyam | adhimukticaryāśikṣāpadeṣvacalasya nirvicikitsasya duḥśīlapūrvasyāpi sidhyati | paṇtisyāpaṇḍitasya vā niyataṃ sidhyati ||



tathā ca atraivoktam-



bodhicittaṃ dṛḍhaṃ yasya niḥsaṅgā ca matirbhavet |

vicikitsā naiva kartavyā tasyedaṃ sidhyati dhruvam || iti ||



bodhicittadṛḍhatā cātra pṛthagjanacalacittatāyā niyamārthamuktā, na tu bhūmipraviṣṭamadhikṛtya | yasmādatroktam-pratyuddhāratāmavabhāsatāṃ ca pratilabdhukāmena, mahāndhakārādālokaṃ praveṣṭukāmena, yadbhūyasā vinipatitena sādhyam | tathā kuto mamālpapuṇyasya siddhiriti nīcacittapratiṣedhaḥ | na cātikrāntadurgaterutsāhormibahulasyopacitāprameyapuṇyaskandhasya bhūmipraviṣṭasyāyaṃ pūrbokto doṣaḥ saṃbhavati | atra ca mantrāṇāmajñānānnādhikākṣarapāṭhe doṣo'sti | nāpi nyūnatādoṣaḥ | nāpi vidhibhraṃśadoṣaḥ | kiṃ tu śraddhāvegaṃ bodhicittavegaṃ sarvotsargavegaṃ ca pramāṇīkṛtyāvicārataḥ pravartitavyam | avaśyaṃ buddhabodhisattvatvamihaiva yatheṣṭasiddhiśca bhavati ||



athavā anena sarvavajradharamantreṇa rakṣāṃ kuryāt-namastraiyabdhikānāṃ tathāgatānāṃ sarvavajradharāṇāṃ caṇḍāla 2 | cala 2 | vajra 2 | śāntana 2 | phalana 2 | cara 2 | māraṇa 2 | vajradā laphaṭa | lalitaśikhara samantavajriṇi | jvala 2 | namo'stu te agrograśāsanānāṃ raṇaṃ 2 haṃ phula sphāṭa vajrottame svāhā ||



anena paṭhitamātreṇa sarvavighnavināyakā nopasaṃkrāmanti | devanāgādayo na prasahante | bhojanapānaśayanāsanavasanapūjopakaraṇāni cābhimantritena jalena dṛṣṭayā manasā vā rakṣeta | acalahṛdayena vā sarvametatkuryāt || idaṃ ca tat- namaḥ samantavajrāṇāṃ trāṭa | amogha caṇḍamahāroṣaṇa sphāṭaya hūṃ | bhrāmaya 2 hū | trāṭa hū | mā | oṃ balaṃdade tejomālini svāhā ||



anena prathamaṃ piṇḍamaṣṭābhimantritaṃ bhuñjīta, bhaiṣajyarājatāṃ buddhabodhisattvānāmanusmṛtya ||

viṣapratīkārastu || tadyathā- ilimitte | tilimitte | ilitilimitte | dumbe | duḥse | duḥsālīye | dumbālīye | takke | tarkkaraṇe | marmme | marmaraṇe | kaśmīre | kaśmīramukte | aghane | aghanaghane | ilimilīye | akhāpye | apāpye | śvete | śvetatuṇḍe | anānurakṣe svāhā ||



ya imāṃ vidyāṃ sakṛcchṛṇoti, sa sapta varṣāṇyahinā na daśyate | na cāsya kāye viṣaṃ krāmati | yaścainamahirdaśati, saptadhāsya sphuṭenmūrdhā arjakasyeva mañjarī ||



ya imāṃ vidyāṃ dhārayati, sa yāvajjīvamahinā na daśyate | na cāsya kāye viṣaṃ krāmati | imāni ca mantrapadāni sarpasya purato na vaktavyāni, yatkāraṇaṃ sarpo mriyate ||



tadyathā | illā | cillā | cakko | bakko | koḍā koḍeti | nikuruḍā nikuruḍeti | poḍā poḍeti | moḍā moḍeti | puruḍā puruḍeti | phaṭa rahe | phuṭaṭaṇḍa rahe | nāga rahe | nāgaṭaṭaṇḍa rahe | sarpa rahe | sarpaṭaṭaṇḍa rahe | acche | chala viṣaśāte | śītavattāle | halale | halale | taṇḍi 2 | taḍa 2 | tāḍi 2 | mala 2 | sphuṭa 2 | phuṭu 2 | svāhā ||



iti hi bhikṣavo jāṅgulyāṃ vidyāyāṃ udāhṛtāyāṃ sarvabhūtasamāgate sarvaṃ tathāvitathānanyathābhūtaṃ satyamaviparītamaviparyastam | idaṃ viṣamaviṣaṃ bhavatu | dātāraṃ gacchantu | daṃṣṭāraṃ gacchatu | agniṃ gacchatu | jalaṃ gacchatu | sthalaṃ gacchatu | stambhaṃ gacchatu | kuḍayaṃ gacchatu | bhūmiṃ saṃkrāmatu | śāntiṃ gacchatu svāhā ||



corādipratīkāre mārīcīṃ japet | tadyathā- parākramasi | udayamasi | vairamasi | arkamasi | markamasi | vanamasi | antarddhānamasi | pathe me rakṣa | utpathe me rakṣa | janato me rakṣa | caurato me rakṣa | rājato me rakṣa | siṃhato me rakṣa | vyāghrato me rakṣa | nāgato me rakṣa | sarpato me rakṣa | sarvato me rakṣa | rakṣa 2 māṃ | sarvasattvāṃśca sarvabhayebhyaḥ sarvopāye sopasargebhyaḥ svāhā || omvaḍili 2 sarvaduṣṭānāṃ granthiṃ vandāmi svāhā || namo ratnatrayāya | namo mārīcyai devatāyai | mārīcyā devatāyā hṛdayamāvartayiṣyāmi || tadyathā | battāli | badāli | badāli barāli | barāhamukhi | sarvaduṣṭānāṃ nivāraya | bandhamukhaṃ svāhā |



imāmapi vidyāmanantajātismarahetuṃ mahāprabhāvāṃ saptapañcāśadakṣarāṃ vidyādharapiṭakopanibaddhāṃ sarvabhayarakṣārtha prayuñjīta | tadyathā | aṭṭe | baṭṭe | naṭṭe | kunaṭṭe | ṭake || ṭhake | ṭharake | urumati | rurumati | turuhili mili | sarvajñodupadagga | namo sabbasammasaṃbuddhāṇaṃ | sijjhantu me mantapadāḥ svāhā ||



eṣā rakṣātmabhāvasya bhaiṣajyavasanādibhiḥ |

satvārthasmṛtipūrvakameva vaktavyā ||



ātmatṛṣṇopabhogāttu kliṣṭāpattiḥ prajāyate ||13||



sarvaṃ hi bodhisattvenotsṛṣṭaṃ sarvasattvebhyaḥ || tatra yadi vismṛtya paradravyamātmabharaṇatṛṣṇayā paribhuṅkte, kliṣṭāpattimāpadyate | atha vitṛṣṇo'nyāsakto vā sattvakāryamanusmṛtya bhuṅkte, na kliṣṭāmāpattimāpadyate | paradravyasaṃjñī svārthena bhuṅkte, steyāpattimāpadyate | pūrārgheṇa prātimokṣe pārājiko bhavati | sattvasvāmikaistu bhogaiḥ sattvasvāmika evātmabhāvaḥ saṃrakṣata ityadoṣaḥ | na hi dāsasya nityaṃ svāmikarmavyāpṛtasya svadravyamasti yena varteta ||



uktaṃ ca dharmasaṃgītisūtre-dāsopamena bodhisattvena bhavitavyaṃ sarvasattvakiṃkaraṇīyaprāpaṇatayeti ||



na caikāntasvāmyarthaparasya dāsasya vyādhyādiviklavamateḥ svāminamananujñāpyāpi bhuñjānasya kaściddoṣaḥ | nāpyevaṃkurvāṇasya bodhisattvasyāntike kasyacidviditavṛttāntasyāpyaprasādo yujyate mātsaryatyāgacittāparijñānāt | na cātra nyāye kaścitsaṃdeho yuktaḥ | sarvotsargo hi pūrvameva bhagavatkaṇṭhottayā pratipāditaḥ | tathā cātmabhāvarakṣā sattvārthamevoktā | tasya spaṣṭāvabodhārthamayaṃ nyāyo'bhiyukto na tu svārthāpekṣayeti ||
